Here is a brief summary of what the 4th graders will be up to this week.

In religion we will look at Jesus' birth and supplement it with some art and music. Memory treasures will be on Tues, Wed, and Fri.

This Tuesday will be our first PE, so please make sure that your student dresses with shorts and tennis shoes.

We took our spelling assessment last week for Words Their Way. I will be getting information to you about our new spelling program this week.

In reading, we will be talking about reading genres as well as reading some short stories. 

In math we will have our first math test on Friday. I will be asking the kids to spell the months of the year as part of the test. It is included with our lesson information on Problem Set 5 (Thursday's lesson). 

In Texas History we will be looking at history and geography. We will definitely be doing some map work.

Monday folders will come home tomorrow, but will be a little thin.
